Shed off that pride of being an Indian, Russian, a Punekar, or a proud Mumbaikar! We react very slowly as humans, we react as a person. Certainly and obviously so. I stepped in Auroville boundary, and the space changed me. I was more quiet, more receptive, thoughtful. The best part was, I was alone. So I discussed the charm of the place, love for details, the peace, the green patches with myself. As I walked towards MatriMandir, me and mind – had a wonderful conversation.
I was eager to see the globe like structure – Maatrimandir.
Peace center in Auroville…
I wont talk about how Matrimandir was built, what is the philosophy behind it etc. The place is sufficiently intoxicating. Without keeping a tab on time, I spent hours sitting and admiring the architecture, clicking pictures and doing nothing. Silence, is what I loved.
Would want to go back to Auroville, stay there, interact with people from various countries, share ideas and be a part of a universal city in the making in south-India.
